ultimate sniper stock

i have a savage 110 staggered internal mag which i understand to be a long action, is it possible to get a savage 10 staggered mag ultimate sniper stock to fit my 110 savage. reason i ask is cause i could get it 100 bucks cheaper but if it cant be modified to fit then i wont get it . thanks

It could be done, but it without the proper tools it would be a hack job. You would have to remove the magazine box, relocate the front pillar, and the recoil lug channel. The inlet area for the magazine box would be too short, if you have a endmill you could open the area up, I guess you could try to remove all that aluminum with a dremal. I would say that the biggest problem is the aluminum v block in the stock, it would be shorter, and may cause problems with relocating the recoil lug. You would have to add some kind of front pillar. I would have to be bedded afterwords. To put it short yes just about anything can be done depending on operator skills, and tools available.
