I know all newer centerfeed short actions are roughly 4.4" on the spacing and the stagger feed actions were 4.275" like all the Gen 2 short actions.
Would a new off the shelf model 12fv in 223 fall in line with the newest centerfed actions with a spacing of 4.4" or still be 4.275"?
I have a new 12fv on order and I am curious if any of the 4.275" stocks I have will fit it.
Thanks!

It would depend on how long it has been on the self.
If it is the newest production it would be a centerfeed action and use the 4.4 screw spacing.

So more than likely it will be 4.4" since this dealer prolly cycles through it's inventory regularly.
Thanks

Would the action spacing be 4.4" if it has the cocking indicator bolt?
That might be a down and dirty way to tell.

Just curious... 204 and 223 are also centerfeeds now or are they still stagger feed? (assuming the gun was made within the past year)
