Does the gas tube on the MSR require cleaning? If so, how does one clean it?

It would take a lot of dirty ammo to clog up the gas tube. But you can pick a carbon solvent and push a pipe cleaner down it. I have ARs with several thousand rounds through them and never clean the tube out...

I use Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber. Just stick the straw in the tube and flush it out.
