Old 110E bolt + new action??

Does anyone know

would a complete bolt assembly from an old Savage 110E work
properly in a recent 110 - 111 action?

Theoretically, yes.....but all bolts are mated to the rifles when they are built, and it may not fit quite right. You will never know till to you try it. Kinda like trying on shoes, not all are created equal.
