Silly question: Does savage make any youth 22lr with a magazine?

I have an 8 soon to be 9 yr old boy that is currently shooting a cricket, but I am exploring options for a 22lr with a detachable box magazine for things like appleseed shoots, He wants a 10/22, but I want him to focus more on rounds on target rather than rounds done quickly ;)

So, What are my options?

The mark II is available with a youth stock. It also has a somewhat shorter barrel. I bought a leftie model for my son 2 years ago and he still loves it. It comes with a ten round magazine but you can buy 5 round magazines for 13-16 dollars.

There are 18 different youth models - 6 of them with a magazine - 2 are .22lr. If you go to the SAVAGE website and click on GUN FINDER at the top. You can sellect the options and it will sort down to what you are looking for.
