I recently purchased a Savage 111 in 30-06. My plan is to make this a 300 PRC. Besides changing the boltface to a magnum .532, what else will be needed to make the rifle mag feed. I do not want to end up with a single shot. Any suggestions on Barrel, stock, or magazine? I'm sure that been touched before. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you're going to make it a repeater unless there's enough space between the front of the mag box and the feed ramp that you can cut out the front of the mag box to let the bullets stick out of it. Even then it'd be close as the mag opening in the bottom of the receiver likely isn't long enough. Honestly, if you want a repeater on a Savage action, you'd be better off getting one of their Lapuas, and changing bolt heads on it as the mag opening and mag is long enough.

I believe this to be correct, it's general.consensus you need a mag with 3.750 capacity to have the needed flexibility with COAL and the heavies needed. I don't think Wyatts or any other company that makes extended length mags makes them for Savages.

Do your research on this, bullet choice/loaded length and mag compatibility is critical.
