Here I is. Suwannee Tim, I im, I im. New member. You are delighted, I can tell. And well you should be. I tried to pay my $12 but Pay Pal is making me jump through a whole series of new hoops like they are wont to do from time to time, you know, making me earn the privileged of giving them my money. I've been shooting since I was in my early teens and that's been about 40 years now. My interest has recently rekindled and I intend to get some rifles I have always wanted. Particularly, I want a 25-06, 30-06 and 35 Whelen and it is pretty obvious that one Savage rifle with three barrels is the way to go. I have become a big fan of the Picatinny rail of late and I routinely swap optics from this rifle to that and back again. Any other fans of the Picatinny out there?

I love my Pic rails. I have EGW rails on all my guns.

That is all I ever use on any rifles that have removable bases.

Vastly simplifies the entire process plus gives what I feel is the best all round mounting solution.

One aspect I really like is that I can take a scope from ANY rifle and instantly mount it on some other rifle and can adjust the eye relief to boot without removing the scope from the rings.
