Stevens 555 Trap

Just ran across this in passing. A single shot with choice of
12 or 20 gauges. Two weights and lengths. 30" barrel and
around 7lbs plus, and 26" barrel around 6 lbs plus. Priced to
have enough coins left over for trap fees. The model I looked
at was at MSRP near 700. I bet street will be around $600.

Maybe get Mr. Baker to do an article !!

Saw those, and it's on my list of possible's to hopefully get for review in the second half of the year. Already have 6 requests in to keep me busy for the next 3-4 months (assuming Savage gets them out to me on schedule). I'm not a trap shooter though - always found it rather boring and repetitive compared to sporting clays.

Cause your not old enough......LOL At our club, I run the upper
rifle range's. The lower range is all Trap. Most guy's that frequent
the clay's are in there 70's or older. These same guy's rattle my
cage about not joining in. I just tell them, I'm not old enough. I'm
only 67 !! My interest in this gun is for possibly a prize factor at
one of our tournaments.
