Hey its Don from Kelowna B.C. Canada. Just ordered up a Liteweight storm 7mm08 for wife and ordered an Ultralite in 280ai for myself. Not my first Savages but it's been a while since I owned one. Had a model 12 Varmint .223 with 7 twist Shilen, model 12 LRP 6.5 creedmoor with an 8 twist benchmark barrel, 2 model 12 choate one in 223 and one in .308 that was eventually rebarreled with an 8 twist 6.5-284 Ted Gaillard barrel, 7mm08 litweight hunter stainless, 6.5 creedmoor liteweight hunter blued wood, and a 6.5 creedmoor long range hunter.
