With Nikon getting out of making scopes,I'd choose a brand that's still in business.
If it breaks or has issues,there will be no warranty!

While Nikon is getting out of the rifle scope business, they are staying in the binocular and range finder business and have stated that they will continue to honor the warranties on the rifle scopes. With the closeout prices on Nikons right now one can get a killer bargain on one. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I was in need.
