savage 111 magazine impossible to find

My father gave me a savage 111 270 but can not locate the magazine . I called savage and got the part number for the magazine and they basically told me good luck finding it . They do not make it anymore and I cannot find it anywhere online . The savage part number is 55111 can Anyonw help me with this

Unless your rifle is an Axis model, the correct part number for a long action, non-magnum is 55117. Easy to find and they run about $45-50.

The Remington has an even different part number. All of that is mute though because as he stated, he has a Savage 111 in stagger feed.

55111 Is for a long action stagger feed
55117 is a detachable mag box for a center feed.

not sure about 55111 number. Just got mine from Canada at nearly half the rifle cost (those things are as expensive as they're hard to find nowadays) ... part number #103208 for staggered feed 30-06.
