Single Shot Adapter

Greetings. I am looking for a single shot adapter for a short action Savage. Essentially what I would like is an insert that would take the place of a standard Savage magazine and snap in place using the existing mag release on the Savage bottom metal. Any tips on where to get something like this? Thanks!!

I bought one at Midway it would not work. Seems they will not fit center feed magazines.

Only if your rifle uses AI style mags and has the AI bottom metal. More recently made 110 Scouts, 110 Tacticals, and a few other models come with those, but most use the proprietary Savage mags. SSS is the only outfit I know of that makes a single-shot adapter like you are looking for.
