My apologies if I missed any threads on this subject. I did do a search and found many threads on Boyd's stocks and pillar bedding, but none that I found on the factory synthetic stock having factory pillars.
My new Axis has both the front and rear pillars installed from the factory. Is this standard? Until I removed the barrel/action, I figured that it would not be pillars installed.

First I've heard of it.

Can't say for axis but every Tupperware stock that I've had on 10s, 110s & Stevens 200 have had steel pillars molded in.
