Just looking to see what kind of ammo for bench shooting has been working for everyone.Im shooting 100,200,300 yards for now.im using a stock 110 tactical 24inch barrel accustock, bag in front most of the time and bag in back. Ive been using the usual factory ammo 140 GR. None of them seem to be very consistent but again factory ammo.

Tell us more. What is consistent to you?
I appreciate everything under an inch.
There is nothing wrong with factory ammo especially in match grade.
Is the gun new or well shot and broken in?
How’s the trigger? A heavy trigger will cause you too pull shots sometimes.
Is the barrel floated way away from the stock?
Are all the mounts and action screws properly torqued?
Is the front of the action bedded with the recoil lug?
Is your aiming reticle a .5 MOA or smaller?

Cheers.

140gns seem to be the standard.

Well I’m use to clover leaf and hole in hole at 100 yards that’s with my Ruger. This 110 has acutriger 3lbs and stock 20moa rail,24inch fluted barrel, its factory.I run Hornady match 140gr in my Rutgers and my Axis all 6.5cm.This one just seem to loose it after 2 or three shots not a hot running barrel.i have run just over 200 rounds threw the barrel should have straitened out by now.but when its on its a tack driver maybe just me I have been shooting in 18 to 36 deg temps.

You might try 130 ELD-M or 147 ELD-M Hornady ammo to see if your rifle might have a weight preference.

My 24-inch barrel Savage 10T-SR likes 130 and 140 weight bullets but my two Savage 26-inch barrel 12 FV and 112 LRP Savages shoot bullets from 140 to 147 grains weights better than the lighter bullets.

The Accu-stock might not fit you as well as your Ruger or you just might have to set up a bit differently with it.
Even the amount of eye relief you have for each shot and your eye position on the optical plane of your scope can cause you to throw a round or two if you are moving in or out or if you aren't right on the optical plane every time.
Consistent set up is very important to achieving accuracy.
I spent a lot of time working on my set up consistency in order to get consistently small groups.

IF you have an in/# torque driver, try two things; first remove the Bbl.action and take a Magic Marker and color all of both sides of the Alum. bedding block.
2. re install your bbl/action and follow the listed procedure for torquing the mounting screws.

What is everyone using for torque specs on the 110 Tactical? And is the torque the same on both bolts?

I go with 40lbs some do 35 front 30 rear-40 front 35 rear just don’t go over 45lbs that is what Savage recommends.some guns you have to finetoon to get the right combo.

Thanks, BTW my 110 T gets hot quick, and starts stringing horizontal after about 10 shots.

If your rifle has been properly bedded and it does it regardless of the type of ammo you run thru it and we assume no scope issues and the barrel has no fouling issues? If this repeats/happens all the time then that’s sign of a lot of residual stress in the barrel blank. It won’t go away and will always be there.

The other thing to ask is how many rounds are on the barrel?
