Converting ML2 to centerfire

Looking to use the action off my smokeless muzzleloader to build a 35 Whelen
im assuming this can be done with a barrel conversion but the question I have is about the bolt face.
any help would be appreciated.

The ML2 is not compatible for any centerfire cartridges. However the first version (ML1) muzzle loader was actually built on a single shot .223 receiver.
