Ninth circuit issued a "permanent injunction" against California "magazine ban"...saying it was unconstitutional.

Could it be the recently appointed judges are changing the way the ninth circuit does business?

I think it will be a cold day in hell till Doomberg lives on any avenue called PA.
But it is his money to blow anyway he likes, and for sure he’s doing it.

This ruling is going to send signals to the Virginia courts also. Virginia has a bunch of gun control legislation on board.

The President is quickly reshaping the Ninth Circuit court. It's happening elsewhere as well. One thing he has done is to disregard the long tradition of allowing liberal Senators in the Court's districts to essentially hand pick their own nominees. Appointing judges, while currently getting little attention in the press, will go down in history as one of the most significant achievements of this administration.

Bloomberg will continue to be a problem no matter where he resides. He continues to throw $Millions at many of the anti 2A groups that attack our rights.

Virginia will be very interesting to watch. Will they pass this controversial legislation? If so, how will they enforce it when gun owners begin push back and say no.

Push is already at full throttle in Virginia. Dozens of counties, lots of LEO's, are saying publicly that they will not enforce legislation that calls for confiscation of firearms. I am originally from the mountains of North Carolina just a stone throw from Virginia and I can tell the liberal gun control folks in Richmond that there are a ton of "good ol boys" that will take it to the limit.

I recently recieved orders to Virginia for this coming summer. Until a couple of weeks ago, I had no idea all this crap was going on. No idea if military is going to be grandfathered/exempted like we are in certain states, or if I'm going to have to leave most of what I've got with friends or family for 4 years. With the Governor, AG, and entire state government majority democrat I'm hoping that a lawsuit will go all the way to the Supreme Court. It may take some time, but then at least some precedent and case law is established for gun rights.

It will. The precedent and case law have been established for a long time.

Did i read where 95 of the counties in VA are opposed to the pending legislation?
Something like 5 in favor?
Of coarse vote numbers count not counties.

You did. Over 100 cities and counties now....2nd Amendment "sanctuary counties" is the term they are using.

The 3rd largest city in the nation has a police chief calling for gun confiscation. Texas cities fall into the jurisdiction of the Sheriff/Constable and the police. In this case what does it matter how the Sheriff lays his loyalty?

Don't know about Texas or Virginia but in New Mexico the deputies don't show up....in other words they say NO! In Catron county it is against the law to not carry a firearm. These people are serious they are not going to lie down and take it.

For those who may not be up to speed on the issues Virginia is facing, just watch this...

Excellent video, hopefully the constitution prevails.
And hopefully future elections in Virginia have desirable consequences.

Give me a break! I just profoundly disagree that this is not a political party issue. The facts to the contrary are simply overwhelming. I don't know why people cannot or will not see that.

It's a party line issue on the politician's side of things. What the guy in the video was stating that it's not a party line issue on the citizens side, meaning there are tons of moderate dem's out there who are avid hunters and shooters that don't agree with this either and he's urging them to be just as active and vocal in the fight against it as those on the right.
