So, I have acquired a Choate Ultimate Tactical Chassis Stock. I am going to use it as a BR stock to work up loads. Hoping to put all the bullet in one hole!

Question, What alterations have you made to make them shoot better? I see the front vee block and the lug bearing surface are one piece. Do you attempt to bed that area at all? Have you had to remove material around the trigger and bolt release? I read the article about the guy who shot a record with a nearly stock Savage rifle and the Choate stock. He indicated he had done nothing to the stock, I find that a little hard to believe!.

I've had great luck with my ultimate varmint. Torqued to 60in/lbs I've produced many ragged hole groups. No modifications

In did nothing to mine except bolt the action in and head to the range.
