Hi everyone.
I have 2 Savages, plus a Fox 12ga double SxS. I have been a hunter and shooter for over 60 years. I am a retired Engineer, and have very modest Hobby Machine Shop, I have done home smithing a big part of that. The oldest Savage is a 1967/68 110 (tel:1967/68 110) SA with a Douglas SS Air Gage 1:12 in 22-250, it was on before I got the rifle. The other is a 110 that needs a new stock in 308 win SA. Both these rifle have the the 4.52” action screws. I want to rebarrel it to 6.5 Creedmoore.
I am a NRA Life member and shoot in my range club CMP matchs, for as long as the eyes hold out. Still get out to hunt Elk and dear. Although at much less extreme level than in years past. LOL. Hope to contribute to the forum and enjoy reading about a very much enjoyed hobby.
