The auto disk does pretty good with flake powders. I use a lot of Blue Dot right now and it meters within .2gn of the setting (8gn setting). It does 'leak' a flake every now and then. Ball powders like AA5 and AA7 leak a bit more but not bad. More like a dusting on the power measure itself, not powder on the press. I have not tried Titegroup. I also have the adjustable insert for the autodisk but I rarely use it.

If you use it on a press then get a long spring attached to the press frame for the 'return' action.

FWIW, if you are using it on a bench then I would not get the auto disk measure, get the deluxe.

Thank you I was thinking on the press that particular press is only used for pistol rds .all my rifle rds are done on the single stage presses

You'll laugh but get the little lee powder thrower it does awesome with 4064. Also it's cheap

Agreed, that cheap powder measure is scary accurate throwing charges.

I've tried both IMR406 and H4895 in two Savage .308s both with 24-inch barrels but one had a muzzle brake.

Unfortunately, my data tells me that there are no certainties when it comes to rifles and barrels. Someone elses data may not match your rifle. You have to find out for yourself and your particular rifle. I measure every group I shoot and keep meticulous data.

For the rifle with the muzzle brake, the best powder bullet combination #1 IMR4166 with 175 gr Sierra TMKs, #2 was IMR4064 with 168 TMKs, #3 was IMR4064 with 175 TMKs, #4, #5 and #6 were all H4895 with 195 gr TMKs, 168 TMKs, and 155 TMKs respectively. Overall average group sizes ranged from #1 @ .405 inches at 100 yards to .466 inches at 100 yards. By the way the first 10 slots were with some weight of Sierra Tipped Match Kings. All the other bullets I tried followed with slightly less accuracy.
Very best loads was with N140 with 168 gr TMKs and averaged 0.283.
The next best load was with H4895 with 175 TMKs and averaged 0.299 for 5 round groups.
Those were the only loads that achieved under 0.300 inches at 100 yards.
The top 10 loads included 4 with H4895, 2 with IMR4064, and 4 with N140. One of the H4895, #9, loads used Sierra SMK 175 gr bullets. Of the rest, 6 used 175 TMKS, and 3 were 168 TMKs.
You can see that this rifle liked heavier bullets.

The other .308 shot lighter bullets better.
Again the top 10 slots of powder-bullet combinations were filled with some weight of Sierra TMKs with different powders and varying weights of TMKs.
#1 powder-bullet combination was with IMR4064 with 155 TMKs with an overall average of 0.399, #2 & #3 were IMR4166 with 168 and 155 TMKs respectively, both averaging 0.410, #4 was H4895 with 155 TMKs averaging 0.430, # 5 was VV N140 with 168 TMKs averaging 0.436.
The very best load was with H4895 with 155 TMKs @ 0.315.
The top 10 loads had 2 H4895 loads, three IMR4064 loads, two IMR4166 loads, and 4 N140 loads. The top 10 loads averaged 0.347 for 26 groups.

I would recommend that you try different weights.
The rifle that shot best with heavier bullets was my second .308 and I tried the lighter bullets and powders that the first rifle preferred expecting the new rifle would like the same powders and weights.
I was surprised when I found that it shot heavier bullets better.

4320 performs as well as 4064 but is smaller grain size which works nicer in the powder measure.
I was never a big fan of Jack O Conner, but that was one recommendation Ive appreciated many times.
We use 308s for practice L/R rock shooting in order to save barrels on the hunting guns.
I don’t even bother weighing the charges with 4320 since it meters so close.
