I just recently got handed down a Savage model 110 in 270 from my pops, he bought from Wal-Mart about 20 years ago as a scope package deal, he used it primarily for deer hunting and really likes it, but just doesn't use it much anymore ... So i'm proud to say this is my first Savage, i don't know much about it since i never have owned a Savage, but I have heard a lot of good things about them, and have a few friends that are very happy with their Savages. I have a few different brands of rifles, mostly Remingtons that i play with and fond of all of them, but i like the feel of this 110 and want to make a tack driver out of it ... So i'm here to learn a few things and to get familiar with my new addition.
