Hello, I purchased a 110c j series short action .243. It is missing the side mount mag release button and escutcheon. Was hoping to get some precise measurements and pics for an attempt to have them 3D printed or maybe someone has a replacement idea for me.
Thanks

They are easy to make. I’ve made a couple to replace the factory ones out of stainless steel barrel stock. I made the release button a little longer so I can release the mag easier with a gloved hand. For the escutcheon I glass bedded it into the stock.

Stock release button measures .257” oal, the side that pushes against the mag housing lever measures .370” o.d. And the lip is approx. .030” thick. The flat side has a slight crown to it. The diameter of the button that goes thru the escutcheon is .312” and the length of that to the shoulder is .204”

The escutcheon has a thru hole of .315”. The part that of it that sits in the stock is .564” in diameter with a shoulder length of .145”. The outside lip that you see from the stock side is .674” in diameter. The cup/radius in of it is approx, .100” deep. For the radius I used a ball nose end mill but off hand I don’t remember the diameter. I could look at work tomorrow for ya.

I cannot post pics but if you give me your email address I can send you a sketch if it helps.

I have a spare set if you want it. The escutcheon is kinda beat up (there just plastic) but you could use it for a pattern.
