Good deal on a Savage 114 stainless

I just couldn't pass on the deal, the Savage is a stainless 114 in 30-06, already mounted is a 3-9x40 Zeiss Conquest with the Rapid Z reticle.
There has only been 50 rounds down the tube, the seller has gotten into bow hunting and doesn't need it anymore.
I got it for......... $500 Canadian.:o

Now you see why stick n string hunters ain't got a lot between the running lights. He coulda used the rifle as backup for the bow...well some prefer the bow to backup the rifle...but NOOOO he has to give away a great
rifle for almost nothing.

I wasn’t aware one could use a rifle as a backup for a bow.
Maybe he will use the money for a cross bow and still have some benefits of a rifle.
Maybe he just needs to replenish his arrow supply?
Who knows? But it sounds like a good deal all round to me.
