New to me

Hello everybody. I recently picked up a nickel plated Savage 1907 pistol in .32 auto built, according to the serial #, in 1917. The plating is pretty worn in spots but I'm going to leave it as is.
It's the first nickel plated Savage 1907 I've seen so I was wondering if the plating was original but after doing some research I found that limited numbers of the 1907s were nickel plated.
Now I'm trying to find more detailed information on this particular pistol.

I don't know if this is the right place for this but here goes.
I'm thinning out my spare parts stash and have a mixed collection of 1907 and 1917 .32 and .380 auto pistol parts.
