Seems like Savage will sell the red target trigger to you and ship to your FFL...price is like $65 + shipping

im thinking they would sell new in wrapper for $80-$100!

Savage just won’t let them go, unless you have the correct serial number and an FFL to ship to...what a mess. Can you imagine having a product to sell, but being unwilling to sell it?!

Maybe we'll see some policy changes with the new ownership that will free up shipments of some so called "restricted" parts. I buy Target Accutriggers on this site from those who've upgraded to an aftermarket trigger. I've retrofitted all my model 12 small shank actions with these and they shoot much better. I would not recommend them for hunting applications though.

As noted, it's a liability thing. Also, Savage Arms is in the business of selling complete guns, not parts to tinkerers.
