Looking for some info on this scope. It is mounted on a savage mod 12 in 22-250. it has fine cross hairs with small dot in the center. My question is (this is gonna sound way out there) the elevation and windage knobs they are marked in 1/8moa clicks with actual moa marks- 1-2-3 etc can they be used for range estimation or is it just a matter of just shooting and making range cards for each moa mark? nikons down loadable directions dont say much.
