I inherited a Savage 110 .300 win mag when my father passed away, the serial number has no letter prefix and starts with 374XX wanted to see if anyone could tell me about how old it may be.

Photos of the bolt handle or barrel nut might help. I'm guessing it's in a wood stock?

It is a wood stock, and I have to get pictures of bolt handle when I get home.

Was made in 1963 based on a couple other S/N's I have in my records.

Thanks I appreciate the information, I inherited this rifle with my dad passed and it is beautiful. Not sure if he inherited it from my grandfather. trying to figure out how to post pictures of it.

Looking at the cartridge chart for the 110 since mine is a 300 win mag would that put it closer to 1965 since that was the earliest date of production for a 110 chambered for 300 win mag?

Could be an early 1964 model made in late 1963 in that caliber. I don't have the 1964 catalog to reference for the chamber options in that year so I guestimated in the chart I made as I know the .300 Win Mag wasn't listed in the 1963 catalog but is in the 1965 catalog.
