Looking for help with the model of my Savage 24 I bought used. Synthetic black stock, 223/12ga, selector on hammer, screw in choke, fiber optic front sight, dovetail rear sight cut, Model 24 on the barrell but no suffix, serial G018***. From all I can find, it should be a 24F. But all the rear sights and diagrams I find for a 24F or 24FT show a set screw mount rear sight. Any ideas or help ?
