Mark I barrels

Our Boy Scout Council has 55 Mark I's that are all at the 30,000 round mark. I have read that the velocity will be lower from a worn barrel. Would it be worth the time/effort
to chronograph each rifle to look for worn barrels ?

If they still hit the mark, who cares? Just spend $50 for one of those Teslong borescopes and see how they look...
