Ok I’m more confused than ever, want to order a Boyds stock I have a Savage 110 Tactical in 6.5 Creedmoor when I go to Boyds they only show Long action 110 so should I order the 10T short action stock.I know 6.5 Creedmoor is a short action but Savage has long/short all in one actions I never know what to classify it as.Any help would be appreciated.

Not an answer, just a question. Is the Boyd's stock you are looking at better than the AccuStock that came on your rifle?

That’s a good question I’ve been asking myself, I don’t have any issues with the Savage stock.

See my question on the bottom, and Boys's answer on top

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for contacting Boyds Gunstocks. At this time we do not offer stocks for the Savage Tactical series. The AI / AR mags will not work in our stocks.

Sincerely

Subject: Stock question

1.I am a left handed shooter
2. I just ordered a right handed Savage 110 Tactical [that's the one with the DBM], because Savage dosen't offer what I want unless I want to spend
$ 1550.00 + one of their EVEO weapons.
3. Due to medical past history, I need either a thumb hole stock, or something with a pistol grip like most AR's.
4. Looking at your web site, it doesn't include the Savage short action with a DBM , which I'm fairly sure is what Savage uses on their "Tactical"
Series.

Thank you

That’s a good question I’ve been asking myself, I don’t have any issues with the Savage stock.

I'd save the money for ammo or whatever. I have two model 10's with Accustocks. One in 223 and one in 6.5 creedmoor. Both shoot great. My 116 WW in 30-06 seemed a little off in the barrel channel gap area. I went to a B&C Madalist because I'm getting ready for a cool Elk trip. The B&C is a beauty for sure. But, if your Accustock has your rifle shooting well, I'd spend the money on something else cool. Just my 2 cents.
