I see Cabela’s has two Axis II XP they read the same but one is more expensive does anyone know the difference one is a model 57090 223cal with scope and the other is model 22320 223 cal with scope both are Axes II XP.Maybe I’m overlooking the difference in the two.

Good question...both look and read identical. I would take the cheaper one and roll with it...

Look carefully and see if one is a heavy barrel. Also check to see if one is an Axis II with accutrigger and the other not? I've seen some distributors mislabel the ads for guns, including not putting the right picture up.

Last, one may just be last year's model and discounted due to that.

There are 22 different types of axis. Go to the Savage website and Search "Axis"

Yes i understand that but Cabela’s has them listed and the description is the same for both

It still could be a last year model that they are trying to get rid of, if the copy and description are correct.

What I have found with the big box is they tend to mess up descriptions and model numbers. Get the two model numbers and either google-foo or use the savage site search. There is definitely something different between the two.
