I ordered a new Savage 93 BTVS today. I really considered getting another BSEV but decided I wanted something that looked a little different. It should be here by Friday so can't wait to take it out and compare some of the new HORNADY EVOLUTION and REMINGTON PREMIUM GOLD BOX .22 magnum cartridges to the stock .22WMR cartridges. Pictures of gun and targets to come.

GB45, Looking forward to your report, I'm sure it will be in detail. That model is to be my next Savage. Quick

Here is my new Savage 93 BTVS .22 Magnum on the bottom with my Savage MKII BSEV .22LR. I moved the SWIFT 4-12x40 scope from the BSEV to the BTVS for the longer range capability of the Magnum.
I put a new BSA 3-9x40 .22 scope on the BSEV because the scope is calibrated specifically for .22LR. The scope comes with 3 different elevation caps for 36, 38, and 40 grain bullets making it easier to compensate for changing target distances. I will post some target pictures after I get to the range and zero the two in at 50 yards since I changed both rifles.

I have the 93FV in 22 Mag. and I love it, I just wish it was the accu-trigger model. Mine likes the Winchester Supreme stuff. Ussually puts 5 shots into 5/8 at 100yds with the cheapo 3-9x40 that was on it when i got it.

I also have that exact same Swift 4-12x40 on my 30-06 and I absolutly love it. Wish I had another. Until now, mine is the only one I have ever seen. Hope you like your 93 and scope as much as I like both of mine.
