After reading many build threads here, I decided to build one of my own in 22 Creedmoor. Components chosen:

--NSS 10FP action w/target accutrigger, stagger feed blind mag
--B&C Medalist originally bedded to action w/SSS recoil lug
--X-Caliber, 1:8, 26" 416R SS, 6 groove, cryo treated
--SSS recoil lug (waiting to order)
--Weaver extended 20moa base
--Vortex PST Gen 1 6-24x50 MRAD w/level and Seekins rings

Used action and stock purchased from classifieds here, lightly used scope/rings/level from another forum, everything else new. Barrel expected late Oct/early Nov.

Have 200 Nosler 6CM cases weight sorted, necked down, and ready for turning.

Get us some pictures when she is up and running Phil. How about some pictures of gods country while you're at it.

I'll post build pics here RH. I've got everything on hand but the barrel and recoil lug. Hoping SSS gets a batch of lugs done before barrel arrives but have a back up plan in case they don't.

Here's the view from the deck overlooking our property in spring with Camas in full bloom...

Have a shooting lane to 364yds on our property.

Barrel arrived while on vacation last week (neighbor received for me). I couldn't resist screwing it on to see how it will look. Ordering the last few parts today and hope to be printing groups before Thanksgiving.

Barrel break in completed yesterday followed by short load test...

6447

Center group were break in and preliminary scope adjustments @ 25yds. Top left is 8rds at 100yds and more scope adjustments (still learning MRAD). Group at lower left of orange dot is 5rds, each a different charge weight, and measured .361".

Loads were 77gr Custom Comp seated .020" off the lands, H4350, CCI200, necked and turned Nosler 6 Creedmoor brass. Velocities for group at upper left ranged from 3377 - 3508fps. The last, at 42.2gr H4350, was a hot load producing 62fps jump over 42gr and accompanied with heavy bolt lift and flattened primer. The cluster of five were 3382/3426/3400/3437/3446 with charge weights increasing by .2gr each.

Quite pleased how this turned out.

It's a real pleasure to shoot Dave, and for my first ever build, I'm ecstatic with its performance!
