Caliber change

I have a 243 weather warrior, I want to change calibers on. Can it be made into a 6.5 PRC?
I plan on a new barrel, but wasn't sure if a short action would work.

Best bet is to do a search for “6.5 PRC cartridge length” and a second one for “6.5 PRC rim diameter.

The first should confirm that your receiver (Model 12, like mine?) is long enough.

The second will tell you if a bolt head swap is needed.
