Model 11 Magazines

Been shooting a lot of years and the mag for my Model 11 is the biggest PIA that I have seen. Does anyone make an aftermarket mag for these rifles? The rifle shoots fabulous with hand loaded ammo. But the mag is a real pain to load?

There are at least two modern versions of Savage DBMS so a little more info and you will get some good responses. Is the magazine frame plastic or metal? Center feed or stagger feed?

i just bought a mod 11 chambered in 22-250, also hard to load and feeds very badly. i would also like some input on the topic.

Detachable or internal box? I have a M11 that has the Axis style plastic clip on the front of the detatchable centerfeed magazine and I just ordered a 10 round Snyder magazine that uses a button release and is built around a H&K/G3 magazine.

i also have a 22lr and a 22 mag that are great shooters but really lack in the mag department.
