About to start load development on this new bullet for long range. Anyone else tried it, and if so, what charge and powder did you choose? This will be used in a TC Performance Center LRR https://www.tcarms.com/firearms/bolt-action-rifles/performance-center-t-c-lrr/performance-center-t-c-lrr

Not A-tip but did try RL16 and Nosler 129ABLRs in my 6.5CM 12FV. Got promising results with velocities @ 2860fps.

Had less luck with the RL-16 than I had with H4831SC and the secret Carolina load of 44.3. YMMV but somewhere around there you should find a good load.

These guys are doing it right at the price point. Are you happy with It? I have heard good things.

I have been loading this for a shooting buddy that's in another state, so I'm not even present when he shoots the loads. He is somewhat limited in distance he can shoot, difficult beyond 150 yds for a variety of reasons, so unfortunately he can't test it a the distances it could prove its merits.

As for me, it's out of my price range. I'm more of a V-Max and SMK kinda guy, although I did get a good buy on a thousand Lapua Scenars and have been shooting those out of my 223.

:p.....Uh, I meant the rifle. Looks good too, if you like the chassis look.

I shot it a few times right after he bought it, and quite frankly I didn't like the feel or fit. But then it was set up for a my buddy who is several inches shorter than I am. But it does have some good features such as mounts for additional weights on the forend to balance out. It'll shoot bugholes with Hornaday Black 140 gr. and that's even before utilizing the Harrells tuner/brake he put on it.

I anticipate getting a range report shortly and I"ll pass on any info that's useful.
