You say “only” like it’s a short coming. LOL! MDT offers several options. But the XLR Element also works.https://www.tacticalworks.com/Tactical-Lite-Element-Chassis-for-Savage-Short-Action-Bottom-Bolt-Release-by-XLR-Industries-XLRTLMSSA1.html

Lol na I wasn’t meaning it that way. I would prefer a chassis that doesn’t use an ar receiver extension and stock

I believe Masterpiece Arms will also work, but you would need to contact them to verify. But expect to pay quite a bit more.

Yeah I’m not sure about masterpiece arms, it list just a short action with no option for bolt release.

No, they make chassis for both SHORT & LONG Actions. And yes they do accommodate either upper or lower bolt release. Read at the bottom. https://masterpiecearms.com/shop/mpa-ba-competition-chassis/ The MPA Chassis are about the best chassis on the market. They provide for many different Actions and set ups. I would have gone this route, except that I prefer the AR style chassis that MDT provides in the TAC21.
