gentlemen

what is the magazine length for savage DBM in .223 ? I'm trying to figure out how long I can load the .223 in a detachable magazine rifle.

Thanks

Hank

Assuming the internal dimension is similar to a stevens CF 223; around 60mm giving you only 2or 3 mm over the length of a standard round. If you really needed to I'm sure you could modify the spacers in the mag and on the bolt...

IN the U.S. we use inches not millimeters ;D so that would be about 2.36"

Need sure if this would work, on an Ar15 form was an article on modifying an AR mag by cutting the front of the clip out about half way down so the bullet tips can stick out just enough.
As said not sure if this would work for you.

Sorry Hank, we were 'metricised' half a century ago; you guys will see reason and follow...one day.
