M12 LRPV Barrel Contours

I'm shopping for a new 223R barrel for my 204Ruger LRPV. On the Shilen web page, they list S8 and S1 contours for the bull contour. My question is which does my LRPV in 204R come with from Savage and would both of these contours fit in the factory stock?

The S1 is a Large Shank. Your model 12 is a Small Shank. I “THOUGHT” your LRPV actually uses a Varmint barrel (S7). That is the Shilen I use in my build and love it!

Edit: I’m sorry. It’s actually a bull barrel on the LRPV. So the S8 will fit!

You sure about that? Last I knew the LRPV's were built on Target actions which all use large shank barrels.

Yes, my mistake. Didn’t think off the top of my head. Was more concerned it won’t can use only ONE not either or. So the S1 will work, and the S8 won’t.
