Night vision help

Hey guys I recently moved to Texas and have been invited to go hog hunting by 2 of my friends. One of the biggest draws for me moving to Texas was hog hunting lol. I plan to make it a regular activity and would like to invest in a night vision scope for it but I'm not willing or able to drop 1000s on one. I can swing about $1000 but that is the hard stop limit. I'm more concerned with optical quality than the ability to take videos. Anyone have any experience with NV in this range? Ohh almost forgot it will be mounted on an AR10 (260 & 308) as well as a 300blk ar15 from time to time. I know I can't afford 1 that can take 300wsm recoil:sorrow:

I'm far from being extremely knowledgeable or educated on NV optics, but the few times I did look into NV most of what I found that was affordable (under a grand) was digital units like those offered by ATN and SightMark. In terms of popularity and favorable reviews, ATN is the way to go with the X-Sight models.
