Hi from north Texas. I'm a 69 year young, life-long hunter. Most of Savage weapons have been single and double barrel shotguns, in fact I still have a 1939 era 12 gauge (30", full choke) that is my primary turkey gun. On the newer side, I just picked up an Axis in 6.5 Creed.

Hmmmm. I've not heard of Fossil Pointe-- I'm a member of the Haltom City range; 200 yards is the farthest it's got.
