So it was not competitive, but it was a great day of shooting. About an hour north of me in Decatur, TX is a 250-800 steel range. Spent Thursday playing with my Savage 12FVs in .223 and .243, plus my Howa GRS in .308. I took my super zoom camera and put together a greatest hits video. Enjoy...

How far were hits with the .223. What load are you running?
Cheers.?

All 3 guns were able to hit at 800 yards, although at that range the .223 is too hard to make out unless a spotter is watching. 500 and less is much easier to see. 77gr Sierra TMK over 23.4gr Varget loaded to 2.400" in Starline brass. Runs around 2730 fps.

Hard to see the misses with that much foliage and grass at longer distances.
They should really kill all the grass and foliage around the target area.
Of coarse for those who don't miss it isn't an issue. lol

It's a learning experience with the super zoom camera. Kinda a PITA to get going, but worth it in the end. I will back it off next time and try 1080/60 vs. the 4K/30 I was shooting.
