B mag no go bang

Hello,
Got my sporter barrelled b mag out today and shot some targets, cans, and then 4 cow birds.
When shooting, I had a failure to cock, when I pulled the trigger, it did not fire, so I lifted the bolt, closed it and then it fired.
This happened 4xs in about 30 shots fired, it also cost me a fifth cow bird.
Sooooo.
Anyone else have this issue ?
Then, if so, what's the fix ?

Only two things that come to mind that could cause it are 1) trigger set too low or 2) gummed up bolt assembly. First try increasing the pull weight on the trigger. If that doesn't solve it, strip the bolt down and give it a thorough cleaning.

Considering you say it failed to cock I would be inclined to think it's being caused by too light a trigger.

Is there a reference on stripping the bolt down? I suspect that could help a heavily used rifle.

Trigger was good from factory, as in I liked it, so I left it.
It is rather light, I will try to increase it some.
Only about 150 rounds shot through it.
When bought, Bolt was wiped down, oiled with EWL, then excess wiped up with patches, bolt looked nice, as in not dirty, not a lot of excess oil, ect.
I have a couple of times, pushed the bolt in, then tried closing it, only to realize, I had not pushed it in far enough.
I then have to relift the bolt, push it the remaining 1/2 inch, then close it.
I though that it failed to fire when I did this.
The B mags bolt, is gonna take a bit of getting used to on my part.
I guess I need to shoot it more.
