I am looking a Hog Hunter in 223 with a threaded barrel.

I see a model 11 and a model 110...…..What is the difference, are they the same action, ………

The 110 is more expensive.

The 110 is more expensive.Several years back you could count on XX being short action and XXX being long actions... not the case any more, all that said I think the main differences are stock quality and brand of optics.. not positive on that.. I have not really kept up on the new nomenclature as all mine are the previous nomenclature. I think the XXX are typically better furniture.

The Model 11 Hog Hunter was last listed in the 2017 catalog. The 110 Hog Hunter was introduced in 2018 when Savage introduced the new plastic stock design for hunter/sporter styles. Same action and barrel. Same Accu-trigger. Different stocks and iron sights.
Both stocks are injected molded plastic. Neither model is an AccuStock since they do not have the aluminum block bedding.
The 11 Hog Hunter stock is the "American" style with a straight comb.
The 110 Hog Hunter stock has a Monte Carlo-esque comb that has a gradual slope downward. The butt has inserts to change the length of pull. Pistol grip of the 110 Hog Hunter looks like a slightly shallower angle (I didn't measure) and has palm swells. Trigger guard is bigger. The 110 Hog Hunter is not technically a 2018 AccuFit stock since it doesn't have the comb risers.
The front sight of the 110 Hog Hunter is hooded. The Model 11 is not. The rear sights look different but I don't have both available to compare.
