110 Desert Tactical in 6.5 PRC?
I already own three 6.5 CM rifles. My latest addition is the 110 Tactical Desert in 6.5 CM. So I'm going not going to buy a 6.5 PRC anytime soon, but was slightly interested in it while I was doing research on the 110 Desert. The thing is I never found a single review on the Desert Tactical in 6.5 PRC. I've read that 6.5 PRC may not be at its best in short actions due COAL constraints, and may not have reliable feeding in long actions. It's a fat cartridge, and some say it is best in Winchester 270/300 WSM sized actions, which seem to far and few. Anyone have 110 Tactical in 6.5 PRC? - How has it been running? Not really interested in debating the ballistic merits of the cartridge, just wondering if it actually works well in the Savage short action.
