Cheap Light Hunting Stock for Model 12 Large Ring

Looking for a cheap lightweight stock to replace the laminate in a 12 SS with internal mag. Prefer synthetic. Converting a very heavy target 300 WSM to 308 lightweight hunter setup. Suggestions ? Toledo, OH

How light do you want the gun to end up at? How much did you wanna spend on a stock?

I just put together a blued short action w/a sporter 308 barrel, and put it into a B&C Duramax stock. With Burris steel 2pc bases, but no scope or rings, the gun weighs in at 7.2 lbs.

The B&C Duramax stocks cost around $90-140, depending on finish type.

They don't get any lighter or cheaper than a factory tupperware stock. Is it stagger or centerfeed?
