I bought some "factory seconds" bullets from Midway, and I can usually tell what they are even though they don't name the manufacturer .I know that the 7mm 139gr I ordered are Hornady Interlock, but I cant figure out what the 63gr .224 I bought are .I thought they would be Sierra Semi Points because the picture Midway used looked like them, but when I got them they look completly different. They have a flat base, and a cannelure, and remind me of a small version of a Hornady Interlock.I weighed some, and the weight is spot on..I have looked to see if Hornady sell such a bullet, and it seems they dont in 63gr..Do any of you know what this bullet may be?.

OK,I will try.I couldnt get a great picture.I noticed that the cannelure is really shallow, and not like the Hornadys. In the picture is the mystery bullet along with a 139gr 7mm Interlock, and a 55gr Hornady.224 soft point

I think I figured it out. the first pic is the mystery bullet..the second is a cross section of the from left to right the mystery 63gr bullet a Sierra 63gr SMP,and a 55gr Hornady soft point the point broke off the 55gr Hornady. this is what I thought I ordered from Midway,I thought it would be a Sierra, but I got the Mystery bullets instead.https://www.midwayusa.com/product/416822/factory-second-bullets-22-caliber-224-diameter-63-grain-soft-point-flat-base-box-of-100-bulk-packagedhttp://i.imgur.com/gaZVAL8.jpg (https://imgur.com/gaZVAL8)http://i.imgur.com/zAkwjim.jpg (https://imgur.com/zAkwjim)
