I have a Model 16 short action with the older (pre-accustock) factory synthetic stock that I bought with the hinged floor plate. Will this stock take a DBM action with no modifications? That is, is the inletting the same for both versions?

Contact SSS. They recently released a DBM conversion that sounds like it should work for you.

Was for the ones I modified. Only one I had too do additional inletting was a OEM walnut stock from Numrich Arms.

It is the same inlet for the hinged floorplate or the detachable box magazine.
