okay I have picked up a couple of accu stocks and accu lugs to convert some of my non accu stock models...
on all the non accustock we all were instructed to float the tang
on every one of the accu stocks that I picked up have an slight indentation where the tang makes contact with the tang
so I called savage the guy I spoke to had nothing for me so I politely asked him to talk to one of the gunsmiths about this question to get some clarification
he came back on the phone about 3 minutes later and said some float and some don't
I am going to try it both ways will have to use a shim to get it to float ….we shall see
anybody here have any thoughts to float or not to float that is the question
