Hello everybody . I go by Wild Bill but also Bill.Iv been collecting guns since 1980 and was a gun dealer for 22 years .I stopped selling guns in about 2002.I still am active in collecting and shooting .I also enjoy reloading handgun and rifle ammo.I belong to a gun club in ohio.I live near Akron ohio.I only own one savage firearm.Its a Savage Axis 308 with factory barrel.I went through the whole gun.Installed Boyd's At One stock,also put Boyd's target grips and target forend on.I also installed a Timney trigger.Also a Glade tactical bolt arm.I piller bedded the stock and then skim bedded the action.Replaced plastic hardware that came with Boyd's stock with steel trigger guard and aluminum mag catch.Color of Boyd stock is Sky Blue.I love the rifle.I sighted it in with lead sled.Next time will be off front rest and rear bag.If anyone has any questions on what I did to my Axis feel free to ask.
