decided to give my son the marlin camo 22. he has had it over a year. went to dicks and got the camo markll in 22 for 240.00 out the door. was wondering what to purchase for mounts? also wondering how my federal bulk target ammo will do?

I have a MKII BSEV and have shot 1 inch target centers at 50 yards with the cheapest ammo. I actually found in a test of 12 various cartridges that my rifle shot the Federal and Wincester X better than the expensive Wolfe and Aguila bullets and even better than some match grade ELEY primer cartridges.

thats great cause i got all that federal target ammo for my marlin. figured it was time to get a better 22.
